Terms of Service

By accessing or using CVMark, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the platform. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers. Creating an account constitutes acceptance of these terms.

CVMark provides an online platform for building professional resumes, analyzing resume compatibility with job descriptions (ATS scanning and related rewrites), CVMark AI (résumé chat and PDF export on eligible plans), generating AI-powered cover letters, LinkedIn import/optimization and keyword tools where available, and Smart Distribute (sending from Gmail you connect with Google OAuth, subject to plan limits). We provide tools and AI-powered assistance to help you create professional career documents. CVMark does not guarantee job placement, interviews, or any specific employment outcomes.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You bear full responsibility for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate and truthful information. You may not create multiple accounts for the purpose of circumventing free plan limitations. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

You agree to use CVMark only for lawful purposes. You must not: use the platform to send spam, unsolicited emails, or harassing communications; distribute malware or malicious content; misrepresent your identity or qualifications; use AI-generated content to deceive employers; attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform; share your account credentials with others; or use automated tools to scrape or extract platform data.

All content, software, designs, logos, and trademarks on CVMark are the intellectual property of CVMark and are protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. Your resume content remains your property — we do not claim ownership of documents you create. You grant CVMark a limited license to process, store, and display your content solely for providing the service.

Paid plans (Pro and Max) are billed in advance on a monthly basis. Prices are displayed in USD. Checkout and subscription management are provided through an independent payment processor; card and billing details are subject to that processor’s terms and privacy policy as well as ours. You authorize charges at the start of each billing cycle according to the plan you select. Plan upgrades take effect immediately where applicable; downgrades typically take effect at the next billing cycle. Failed payments may result in suspension of paid features until resolved.

CVMark is a tool provider and is not responsible for outcomes resulting from platform usage, including but not limited to: failure to obtain interviews, job offers, or employment; errors in AI-generated content; email delivery failures for campaigns; or any decisions made based on ATS analysis scores. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CVMark, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party. This includes claims related to resume content you distribute, emails you send through our platform, or any misuse of AI-generated content.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with modified terms, you must cancel your account before the changes take effect.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CVMark operates. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration. You agree to waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in class-action lawsuits.
